What is an AI companion?

An AI companion is an AI character built for friendship and conversation rather than tasks: it listens, remembers you, has a personality and is there whenever you want to talk. Amorel is an AI companion app with animated 3D characters you can call by voice, text, play games with and watch videos with, in the browser. It is for adults, and it is honest about being AI.

How it works

1. Pick who you want to talk to. Choose a character with her own look, personality and voice, or design your own from scratch.
2. Call or text her. Press call and just speak. She answers out loud in about a second, and you can interrupt anytime.
3. Get closer over time. She remembers what you share. Go on dates, play games and watch videos together as you grow closer.

Can an AI companion help with loneliness?

Is it free?

During early access Amorel is free: 5 minutes of voice to start, a new free minute every 2 hours after that, and free texting within fair use. Paid plans with more minutes are coming soon; you can join the waitlist in the app.

Is my data private?

Your chats stay in your own browser and are not stored on our servers. Your account keeps your email, plan, minutes, how close you are with each character and a few short memories you can delete.

Is it an AI friend or an AI girlfriend?

Both, in a way. She starts friendly with a little spark, and as you get to know each other she can become flirty and romantic. It's never sexually explicit.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It works in your browser on phone and computer. For voice, allow microphone access when asked.
